Daylight Moon is a clothing company run by designer Madeleine Richards. Based in New Zealand, Daylight Moon has strong ethical values and strives to create garments that are “timeless and free of trend based fashion directives.”

Before

Madeleine came to me with an existing Shopify website. She was not happy with the level of sales coming through from her website traffic. The old website design was fashionable and edgy, but it was confusing to use. This was resulting in visitors leaving the website without making a purchase.

The entire original home page - While some aesthetic was there, the home page should give an overview of what you can find on the rest of the website and encourage browsing.

After

I redesigned the Daylight Moon website to be clear and easy to navigate. This way visitors are more likely to find what they want and make a purchase. The new website is precisely on-brand, without additional colours or clutter, so it feels fresh. A standout feature of this website is the ability to pre-order garments before they launch.
